Budget Tracker is a Hive+ feature that helps you stay on top of your heating spend. It forecasts your annual heating costs, sets monthly spending limits, and keeps you informed with alerts - so you always know if you’re on track, overspending, or under budget.

How to Access Budget Tracker

• Open the Hive app and go to Insights.
• Tap Budget Tracker to see your current spend, monthly budget, and forecast.
• From here, you can view details, adjust your budget, and track progress.

What You’ll See

When you open Budget Tracker, you’ll see:

• Current Spend vs Budget – showing how much you’ve spent compared to your monthly limit.
• Forecast Line – estimating what you’ll spend by the end of the month if your current usage continues.
• Status Messages – clear indicators if you’re On Track, Overspent, or Underspent.

Month-to-Month View

Budget Tracker lets you compare your spend across different months, helping you spot trends and changes in usage. Each month is colour-coded based on whether you’re Underspent, On Target, or Overspent.

Adjusting Your Budget

You can update your monthly budget at any time:

• Tap the edit icon on your current budget.
• Choose a new monthly limit from the options provided.
• Tap Done to save your change.
