  Hive Plug v3 (Left)/Hive Plug v2 (Right) Checking Connection Status - Open the Hive app.
- Click Manage (bottom right corner)
- Click My devices
- Alternatively, check the connection status on the homepage if it’s on your dashboard.
Troubleshooting Offline Hive Plug - Check Power: Ensure it is switched on at the wall and has power.
- Test the Socket: Make sure it's not a fault with the socket, test in another to see if the Hive Plug will work.
- Reset if Necessary: If still offline, reset the plug (note: this clears saved schedules).
- Power Cycle: Turn the device off and on again to see if this resolves the issue.
Resetting Your Hive Plug - For V2: Press and hold the button on the front.
- For V3: Press and hold the button on top.
- Hold for 10 seconds until the light double flashes amber, then release.
Reinstalling the Hive Plug - Open the Hive app.
- Go to:
- Manage (bottom-right corner)
- Click Add a device
- Click Other Hive devices
- Click Other Hive devices
- Click Start
- Your Hive Hub will search for and pair with your Hive Plug.
