Answer

Our Alfen Single S-Line and EO Mini Pro 3 Hive EV chargers can connect to our platform via an Ethernet cable. This feature complements the built-in SIM in the chargers, and for our EO chargers, you also have the option to connect via Wi-Fi.

For additional guidance on using the app to connect to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:

1. Open the App:

  • Go to Charger settings on your phone.
  • Tap on Charger.

2. Connection Settings:

  • Scroll down and tap on Connection settings.
  • The phone will attempt to pair with the charger.

3. Select Connection Type:

  • Once paired, a new screen will display different connection types.
  • Tap on the Wi-Fi toggle.

4. Search for Wi-Fi:

  • The phone will search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  • Select your network or tap Other to manually input the Wi-Fi name and password.

Note: Unsecured networks are not supported and will not appear.

5. Connect to Wi-Fi:

  • Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap Join.
  • The charger will attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi.
  • Upon successful connection, a success screen will appear.

6. Error Screens:

  • If the connection fails at any point, specific error screens will be displayed during the Bluetooth pairing or if the connection times out, try the following reboot process

Reboot Process:

  • Remote Reboot: If the charger is online, tapping the ‘Reboot charger’ button within the charger settings will send a remote command to reboot the charger.
  • Manual Reboot: If the charger is offline, the app will provide manual steps to reboot the charger.
