Resetting Your Hive Light Following Repositioning

Action

Now that you have moved your Hive Light, it may need to be reset again. To do this, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Power Cycle the Light

    • Turn the light off and on six times using the light switch or mains powered socket.
    • On the sixth time, leave the light on.
  2. Enter Reset Mode

    • The light should flash twice, indicating that it is now in reset mode.
  3. Open the Hive App

    • Launch the Hive app on your device.
    • Navigate to Manage > Install a Device > Install Hive Devices > Other Hive Devices > Start.
  4. Search for Devices

    • The hub will begin searching for devices. When it finds your Hive Light, the light should flicker.
  5. Complete the Reset

    • To stop the hub from searching, simply back out of the page. Your devices should now show as online.
