To ensure you are given the correct information for the next steps, it is important we identify which model of Hive Thermostat you have. Below are images of what each thermostat looks like:

Hive 1 Thermostat:

This is the original Hive Thermostat and would ordinarily have been installed prior to 2016.

Hive 2 Thermostat:

The Hive 2 Thermostat, launched in 2015, has undergone a few minor changes over the years. Older versions feature physical buttons for the back arrow, menu, and tick icons, while newer models have a touch screen interface.

Hive Thermostat Mini:

Launched in 2022, the Hive Thermostat Mini is the latest addition to the Hive Thermostat range. The primary difference from the Hive 2 Thermostat is the removal of the central dial.

Hive Wired Thermostat:

From the front, this Hive Thermostat looks identical to the Hive 2 Thermostat. However, when removed from the wall, it only has 3 AA batteries, compared to the 4 in the Hive 2 Thermostat.  NOTE: The Hard Wired Thermostat must always be fitted to its wall fitting.
