Set up Samsung (SmartThings) account

You can easily link your Samsung device to the Hive app by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Create a SmartThings account

Before you begin, make sure you have a SmartThings account. If you don’t have one yet, you can create it by visiting Samsung SmartThings or downloading the SmartThings app from your app store.

Step 2: Link Samsung with Hive

Once your SmartThings account is ready:

1. Open the Hive app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Tap on Manage from the main menu.
3. Select + Add a device.
4. Select Works with Hive.
5. Choose Samsung from the list of available partners.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
