Action
If you control your heating through the Hive App, you will have a Hive Hub. However, it is possible to control your heating without a Hive Hub. There are a few different versions of Hive Hubs:
The most common type of hub is our Nano2 Hub. This Hive Hub connects directly to the back of your broadband router and will look similar to the below image:
We also have the Nano3 Hub. This is our newest generation of Hive Hub can connect to your Wi-Fi therefore, can be located anywhere in the home, or via Ethernet cable directly to the back of your broadband router. However, we usually recommend positioning in a central location in the home, and it will look similar to the below image:
We also have the Hub 360. This Hive Hub connects to your Wi-Fi, therefore, can be located anywhere in the home. However, we usually recommend positioning in a central location in the home, and it will look similar to the below image:
