Light Information

The Alfen S-Line charger features an LED indicator that provides essential information about its status. Below, we’ve outlined the meanings of each LED colour and pattern:

  • White: Standby and ready to use.
  • Green: Indicates that a charge card has been accepted or that the charging cable is connected.
  • Light Blue: The charger is communicating with the vehicle, or the charging process is complete.
  • Blue: An active charging session is in progress.
  • Blue/White Flashing: Load balancing is active, which means the charger is reducing charging power to balance the load.
  • Blue/Light Blue Flashing: Load balancing is activated and charging is temporarily paused.
  • Red: An error has been detected. Check the charger’s status and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Red/White Flashing: The charge card is not authorised for charging. Although the charging cable is connected, no charging occurs.
