Action
If the Hive app isn’t responding or behaving unexpectedly, force closing and reopening it can often resolve the issue.
For iPhone (iOS):
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle (or double-click the Home button on older models).
- Find the Hive app in the list of open apps.
- Swipe up on the Hive app to close it.
- Go back to your home screen and reopen the Hive app.
For Android:
- Open your device’s Settings.
- Tap on Apps or Applications.
- Find and select the Hive app.
- Tap Force Stop.
- Return to your home screen and reopen the Hive app.
Once you've force closed the app, try connecting your Samsung device to the Hive App again:
- Open the Hive app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Tap on Manage from the main menu.
- Select Works with Hive.
- Choose Samsung from the list of available partners.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
