Standalone: Reset your Hive Wired Thermostat

Remove the Thermostat from the Wall:

• Press the tab underneath the thermostat to remove it from the wall.
• Take out one battery.

Power Cycle the Boiler:

• Turn off your boiler using the mains isolation switch (the lights will go out).
• Turn it back on (the lights will come on).

Reset the Thermostat:

• Remove and then re-insert the batteries into the thermostat, then press and hold the menu and back buttons on the thermostat.
• Follow the factory reset instructions on the screen. After 10 seconds, “Welcome” will be displayed on screen.
• Press and hold the back and tick buttons until the 10 second timer runs down. The thermostat will restart in stand-alone mode and will show a triangle at the top of the screen.

Wait for the Thermostat to Connect:

• The thermostat will now search for the receiver.
• When found, the thermostat will display ‘let’s take a tour’.

Test the Boiler:

• Raise the target temperature above the room temperature on the thermostat to test your boiler.
