Troubleshooting Heating Performance Monitor Notifications

If you’re not getting notifications, first make sure that your Hive Hub and thermostat are online and working properly.

Next, check your settings:

• Open the Hive app
• Select your Thermostat and go to Thermostat Settings
• Choose your notification preferences in Heating Performance Alerts
• Tap Done to save your settings

Heating Performance Monitor needs about two weeks to learn your home’s heating patterns before it sends notifications. This might take longer if you don’t use your heating much during the first fortnight.

If you’re still not getting notifications after the initial learning period, it means that Hive hasn’t detected any unusual activity in your home’s heating patterns. This is a good sign that everything is working normally and you’ll see a message saying so in Heating Performance in your Insights tab.
