How to Set Up Temperature Notifications in the Hive App

You can set up temperature notifications to alert you automatically if your home gets too hot or too cold. To create or change these notifications at any time, go to the Actions tab in the Hive app.

Steps to Create a New Heating Notification

1. Open the Manage Page: Open the Hive app and navigate to the ‘Manage’ page in the bottom right
2. Select the Actions option: Tap on the “Actions” option.
3. Create a New Action: Tap the + button to create a new action.
4. Choose Notification Type: Scroll down and select either “Get a notification when the temperature is high” or “Get a notification when the temperature is low”.
5. Set Notification Preferences: Choose the temperature at which you’d like to be notified and how you want to be notified (push notifications or email). Give your action a name and save it.

That’s it! You’ve now set up temperature notifications for your Hive Active Heating.
