What is 2FA and Why is it Mandatory?

• Combines your password with a code sent via SMS or email.
• Provides stronger protection than a password alone.
• Ensures all members benefit from enhanced security.
• Makes unauthorized access significantly harder.

Flexibility with SMS and Email Fallback

• If SMS is unavailable, use the email fallback option for verification.

Introducing the ‘Trusted Devices’ Feature

• View and manage trusted devices under Account > Account Security > Your trusted devices.
• Devices verified via SMS are added to the trusted list, avoiding repeated 2FA.

What You Need to Do

1. Log in with your username and password.
2. Enter the verification code sent via SMS or email.
3. For email verification, tap the resend via email button and enter the code.

Granting Access to ‘Partner’ or ‘Family’ Members

• Use the ‘People’ feature to grant access to Hive home devices.
• Assign ‘Partner’ or ‘Family’ permissions to other users.
