Hive Motion Sensor: Notification Management

Once your Hive Motion Sensor is set up, you will receive notifications as push notifications by default. If you wish to change this, follow the steps below:

Changing Notification Preferences:

1. Open the Hive App: Tap on the Actions tab.
2. Edit Notification Action: Tap on the notification action for the sensor.
3. Notify Me: Tap the Notify Me button in the Then section.
4. Choose Notification Method: Select your preferred notification methods (you can choose multiple).
5. Save: Tap back, then save.

Enabling/Disabling Notifications for Pet Friendly/Hive Motion Sensor:

1. Open the Hive App: From the dashboard, tap on the motion sensor.
2. Navigate to Actions: Tap the Actions tab.
3. Toggle Notifications: Find the action that triggers notifications and tap the toggle to enable or disable it.
4. Create New Action: If no action exists, tap the + button to create one.

Useful Information for the Pet Friendly Motion Sensor:

• Does not detect pets under 36kg, preventing false notifications.
• Monitors an 80º field of view with a range of up to 8 meters, detecting moving temperature patterns.
