How to Set Up and Edit Hive Actions

What are Hive Actions?

• Connect your Hive devices through the app for seamless home automation.
• Example: Set Hive Active Heating and Hive Lights to turn on when your front door opens.
• Use pre-set Actions or create your own.

Where to Find Hive Actions:

• Located at the top of the app, above the device filter tab.
• Tap on the required action to execute it.

Setting Up Hive Actions:

1. Log in to your Hive app.
2. Create new actions via the Manage Tab or the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner.
3. Choose devices and define the action (use ‘When’, ‘While’, and ‘Then’ boxes).
4. Tap ‘Done’, then ‘Next’.
5. Name the Action and tap ‘Save’.

Tip: If using a template, you can’t alter the device within ‘When’. Build your own Action instead.

Editing an Action:

1. Log in to your Hive app.
2. Open the menu and choose ‘Actions’.
3. Tap on the Action you want to edit.
4. Rename or adjust ‘When’, ‘While’, or ‘Then’ options.
5. Tap ‘Save’ to return to the Actions list.
