How to Set Up Heating and Hot Water Schedules

With Hive Active Heating, you can create a customized schedule for each day of the week, with up to six time slots per day. This ensures your heating and hot water are on when you need them and off when you don’t. Follow these steps to set or edit your schedule using the Hive app:

Access the Heating Schedule

1. Open the Hive app and go to your dashboard where your Hive devices are listed.
2. Tap on Heating.
3. Tap on Schedule at the top of the screen.

Set a Heating Schedule

1. Tap the day you want to set a schedule for.
2. Tap the first heating time slot and choose the time you want your heating to turn on.
3. Select your desired temperature and the time you want the schedule to end.
4. Tap Done.

Set a Hot Water Schedule

1. Tap on Hot Water from the dashboard.
2. Tap on Schedule at the top of the screen.
3. Tap the day you want to set a schedule for.
4. Tap the first hot water time slot and choose the time you want your hot water to turn on.
5. Select the time you want the schedule to end.
6. Tap Done.

Copy a Schedule

1. Tap on the day you wish to copy.
2. Tap the three dots at the bottom right of the Schedule screen.
3. Select the days you want to copy the schedule to.
4. Tap Apply.

Edit Your Schedule

1. Follow the first three steps under “Access the Heating Schedule” or “Access the Hot Water Schedule.”
2. Change the day or time to your new preferences.
3. Remember to save your changes.
