Hive Thermostat Functionality When Offline

Hive Hub and Thermostat Connectivity

Your hub connects your thermostat to the internet. If the hub or thermostat loses connection, you won’t be able to control the thermostat via the Hive app.

Offline Notifications:

The Hive app will notify you if your heating or hub is offline and provide troubleshooting steps.

Thermostat Functionality:

• If the Hive receiver doesn’t show a red status light, the thermostat will follow the programmed schedule and maintain the desired temperature.
• You can manually adjust settings directly on the thermostat.

Red Status Light:
