Answer

The LED on your EO charger lets you identify the status of your charger at a glance. The different colours that can be found on the charger indicate the following:

During Device Switch On:

  • Pulsing Blue: After switching on the charger, the LED pulses blue. It’s important to note that it may take up to an additional 10 minutes for the charger to connect to the Hive platform.

During Normal Operation:

Here are the LED colours and their meanings during regular use:

  • Not Illuminated: When the LED is not lit, it indicates that there is no power available to the charger.
  • Solid White: The charger is initialising. It’s in the process of starting up.
  • Pulsing Blue (Ready): The unit has successfully started up and is ready to charge
  • Pulsing Green (Cable Inserted): When the cable is inserted into the charger, the LED pulses green. The EO Mini Pro 3 is communicating with the vehicle and attempting to initiate a charging session.
  • Solid Green (Charging): A charging session has begun successfully. The LED remains solid green while the EV charges.
  • Pulsing Blue (Cable Removed): If you unplug the cable, the LED pulses blue again, indicating that the charger is ready for the next charging session.
  • Pulsing Blue and Green: Charger is updating to the latest firmware. Once complete, the charger will reboot.
  • Solid Yellow (Paused): The EO Mini Pro 3 has been paused intentionally. This state allows customers to temporarily halt the charging process.
  • Pulsing Red (Fault Condition): If a fault occurs, the LED pulses red.
