Answer
There may be circumstances where FreeCharge is not working optimally. This could be due to a variety of factors. Some things to watch out for are:
- FreeCharge has paused charge, waiting for the greenest and quietest time of the day to activate charging to hit your EV ready-by time
- Operational issues with your charger. This could be due to hardware or software issues.
- Something else might be causing the car to not charge (e.g. you have set a specific schedule in your EV manufacturer app). Please ensure these are disabled for FreeCharge to work.
- You have disabled the FreeCharge scheduling feature in the schedule settings on the Hive app.
