Works With Hive: Linking Myenergi Zappi EV Charger

 NOTE: Compatible with Zappi 2 and Zappi Glo chargers only.  

General Account Linking

To link a compatible device with Hive:

1. Open the Hive app.
2. Tap Add Device.
3. Select Works With Hive.
4. Choose the manufacturer from the list (e.g., myenergi).
5. Complete the pre-checks shown on screen.
6. Tap Continue to Sign In.
7. Sign in to the device account.
8. Once linked, a confirmation message will appear. Tap Finish.

myenergi-Specific Features

Accessing the Zappi EV Charger

1. In the Hive app, go to the Devices screen.
2. Scroll down and select EV Charger.
3. The main EV charger screen will appear, showing available controls.

Charging Modes

The Zappi EV charger supports four modes:

• Fast Mode – Charges at full power.
• Eco Mode – Uses a mix of grid and green energy.
• Eco+ Mode – Prioritises green energy only.
• Stop Charging – Halts the charging session.

Changing Modes

1. Use the mode dropdown on the EV charger screen.
2. Select the desired mode.
3. A confirmation will appear on screen.
4. The main dashboard will reflect the selected mode.

Stopping Charging

1. Select Stop Charging from the dropdown.
2. Confirm the action.
3. A confirmation message will appear.
4. The dashboard will show Charging Stopped.

Boost Function

The Zappi charger offers two types of boost:

Manual Boost

1. Tap the Boost button on the EV charger screen.
2. Select Manual Boost.
3. Choose a target kWh to deliver.
4. Tap Start.
5. Confirmation will appear, and the dashboard will show Boosting.

Smart Boost

1. Follow the same steps as Manual Boost.
2. Select Smart Boost instead.
3. Choose a ready-by time and target kWh.
4. Tap Start to activate.
