    • Open the Hive app and go to the Control Screen.
    • Tap Stop Charging and confirm when prompted.
    • Once confirmed, you can safely unplug the cable from your car.

  2. Directly from Your Car

    • Simply remove the charging cable from your car to end the session.

Why Does My Charger Start Its Schedule Late?

If your charger is online but starts charging up to 10 minutes later than scheduled, this is normal. Here’s why:

  • The delay is part of the Smart EV Charger Regulations set by the government.
  • These regulations help protect the electricity grid and local substations from sudden demand surges.

Can I Override This Delay?

Yes, you can:

  • Change your charging mode to No Schedule in the Hive app.
  • Important: When using No Schedule, you won’t be able to use Power+ features.
