Answer

This page explains what to do if you’re moving home and either taking your charger with you or leaving it at your current property.

Option 1: Taking Your Charger to Your New Home

If you would like to take your EV charger with you when you move, and it is still within its warranty period, we will continue to honour the warranty at your new property.

To keep your warranty valid, you’ll need to provide the following documents after the charger has been reinstalled:

  1. Test Certificate
  2. Load Assessment
  3. ENA Approval

Once you have these documents, please send them to us.
We need them before we can troubleshoot any software (app/platform) or hardware (charger) issues.

Important for EO Chargers

If you have an EO charger, it must be installed by an EO-approved installer.
If it is not installed by an approved installer, the warranty will become invalid.

Option 2: Leaving Your Charger at Your Current Property

You can leave your charger behind when you move home.
In this case, the new homeowner becomes responsible for the charger, and any remaining warranty can transfer to them.
