Adding your own tariff and keeping the details up to date helps ensure your energy forecast is accurate. You may need to amend your tariff information for the following reasons:
- You’ve never entered your tariff details before
- You’ve changed tariffs with your current energy supplier.
For example, you switched from a standard tariff to a fixed-rate or time-of-use tariff. - You’ve switched to a new energy supplier.
Your new provider may have different rates or tariff structures. - Your current tariff or energy usage details are incorrect.
This can lead to inaccurate forecasts or billing estimates.
How to add your tariff details:
1. Go to manage and tap on Energy tariffs
2. If you have a British Gas tariff, select the option to link this underneath and you’ll log in with your British Gas account details. Your tariff information will automatically pull through.
3. If you’re with another supplier for your energy, tap to Add a gas tariff
4. Choose your supplier from the list and enter your unit rate then your standing charge
5. Then choose to Add an electricity tariff
6. Choose your supplier from the list and follow the instructions to add your Single rate or Multi rate tariff information with your standing charge
If you need to update your tariff details, you can do so by going back to the Energy tariffs section of Manage.
