Hive Plus is our membership service designed to help you save on your heating bills, monitor the heating efficiency of your home, and enjoy a range of perks and discounts. For a monthly fee of £3.99 or £39.90 per year, Hive Plus offers several valuable features:

  2. Budget Cost Tracker: Set a monthly budget, track your savings goals, and monitor your progress throughout the month.
  3. Heating Efficiency Monitor: Receive alerts when your home is not heating properly.
  4. Heating History: Access weekly and monthly views of your heating usage to keep an eye on your spending.
  5. Schedule Assist: Optimise your heating schedule with personalised recommendations to save money.
  6. Carbon Calculator: Track your individual and community CO2 savings with Hive.
  7. Extended Warranty: Enjoy an extended warranty on all your Hive products for as long as you have a Hive Plus subscription.
  8. Hive Products Discount: Save 10% on all Hive products across the website (excluding Air Source Heat Pumps, EV Chargers, and Solar).
  9. Saver Mode: Manage your heating to stay within your budget with our unique mode that calculates your predicted bill.
  10. Exclusive Hive Saver Tariff: Unlock access to an exclusive dual fuel fixed tariff below the price cap from our friends at British Gas.

 NOTE: Saver Mode and Schedule Assist are not currently compatible with multiple heating zones or Hive Radiator Valves.

Compatibility
Unfortunately, Hive Plus is not compatible with electric heating systems, including electric boilers, or oil boilers.

  • Why Hive Plus Isn’t Compatible with Electric Heating
    • Electric heating systems have different properties and behaviours compared to gas heating systems. Hive Plus features and data science are specifically designed for gas heating, meaning you won’t receive accurate forecasts or efficiency alerts with electric heating.
  • What You Can Still Enjoy
    • Even though Hive Plus doesn’t support electric heating or oil boilers, you can still take advantage of other membership perks, including ongoing warranty and discounts on Hive products and services.
