To set up your replacement Hive Thermostat, please follow the steps below.
NOTE: By following these steps, your existing heating schedules and settings will be reset.
Open your Hive app and go to the dashboard to make sure that your Hive Heating is online. If it is offline, follow these steps:
If you have multizone heating, please contact us. Otherwise, continue to step 2.
On the dashboard, select ‘Add’. Alternatively, click the top right corner to access the menu.
Tap “Upgrade or Replace” and follow the on-screen instructions. NOTE: If you cannot see the "Upgrade or Replace" option, please contact us.
That’s it! You should now be able to control your new thermostat through the Hive app.
TIP: We recommend that you keep the phone awake and on the Hive app screen throughout the journey. Please make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and that you have more than 50% battery before you start. The full process should not take more than 20 minutes.
