Internet Outage

Internet down? No need to worry - you can still stay in control.

Your Hive Thermostat and Hive Radiator Valves will continue to let you manage your heating and hot water directly at home, even without Wi‑Fi.

Thermostat Not Working

If your thermostat isn’t working, you can still control your heating and hot water at home.

Start by locating your Hive Receiver - the device shown below. It’s usually found near your boiler, as it’s wired directly to control it, but it may also be installed elsewhere in your home, such as near your hot water tank.

NOTE: If your Hive only controls your heating, your receiver will have a single button in the bottom right corner. If it also controls your hot water, you’ll see two buttons instead.

To turn your heating on, even if your thermostat isn't working, all you need to do is press the button under the flame icon, the light at the button will then turn green to show Hive has sent a command to your boiler to turn your heating on.

To turn your hot water on, simply press the button under the tap icon. The light at the button will then turn green to show Hive has sent a command to your boiler to heat your hot water.
